Fondue

Chocolate Fondue

This is extremely easy to make and a very classy, delicious and lovely way to serve any of Steep Hill's fruit.

Put about 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips in a small saucepan. Add 1/2 cup creamilk or whipping cream (you could also try using any soymilk) and 2 Tablespoons orange juice (this amount can be found in 1/2 orange from Steep Hill). Gently heat, stirring constantly, till chips are melted. Transfer to a fondue pot if available. If a fondue pot is not available, leave in the saucepan in case you need to reheat to soften. A little more cream may be added if sauce is too thick.

FONDUE DIPPERS: Strawberries, cubes of pear, grapes, 1" thick slices of banana, orange sections, apple wedges, kiwi, cubes of peach, plums, etc., cubes of cake or muffin.
