What does membership mean?

Membership entitles you to shop at Steep Hill. Working members who contribute two hours of time in a month pay the shelf price. There are 75 shifts to be shared amongst 900 members. Members pay a 13% mark-up on the shelf price.

How to join Steep Hill Co-op

Drop in at the store where a manager or co-ordinator will be happy to sell you a membership. It costs $20.00 per year.

You will then be able to buy groceries at the non-working member rate. Non-members are welcome to shop at a 25% markup.

Work shifts

The 2 hour work shifts are:

Monday

• 12:30-2:30
• 2:30-4:30
• 4:30-6:30

Tuesday to Saturday

• 11:30-1:30
• 1:30-3:30
• 3:30-5:30
